I possess a Masters in Social Work (MSW) from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work graduating in 2007.


Professional experience


Sarah has extensive clinical experience working with individuals and families in the community, schools, hospital settings and private practice. She has had the honor of being a Neonatal Intensive Care (NICU) social worker providing therapeutic services to individuals and families who are often experiencing a crisis at a sacred time in life. She has provided counseling services to students and has been in private practice since 2015. This wealth of experience informs Sarah's person-centered, gentle approach to therapy.


Sarah specializes in working with individuals throughout their reproductive life phase from pre-pregnancy, pregnancy, birth and beyond. She provides integrative relationally focused psychotherapy for the emotional complications associated with perinatal and postpartum life phases including infertility, pregnancy complications, birth trauma, pregnancy and infant/child loss, postpartum emotional complications, unexpected health complications of infants as well as adjustment to early parenthood, parenting, general life transitions and losses. She utilizes therapeutic approaches that support growth and change which include EMDR, CBT, ACT and relational and attachment based approaches. 


Personal experience


As a mother and clinician Sarah is keenly aware of the unique needs and challenges that are experienced during the perinatal, postpartum and parenting life phases. Sarah strives to support life adjustments by providing possibility, hope and renewal.
